VP6400 VRM
A functional product at an affordable price!
With their clean and rugged design, the 6400 tractors are ideally suited for customers that look for a functional product with an affordable purchase price and low operating costs. The standard gearbox with 12 forward and 12 reverse speeds is equipped with a mechanical reverse shuttle and a 540 rpm PTO which is mechanically operated via a wet multi-disc clutch.
The transmission features a mechanically-actuated wet multi-disc clutch integrated into the central crankcase to minimise the front overhang. An outstanding new feature of this range is the front axle with integrated steering cylinder providing a steering angle of up to 50°. This allows an inner steering radius of just 1200 mm to be achieved, even with a narrow track width.
The new arrangement of controls, all located on the side of the steering wheel, provides a roomy and comfortable driving position that reduces the operator’s stress even after long work hours. The fully independent auxiliary hydraulic system provides a maximum flow of 40 l/min, allowing the tractor to be equipped with an implement draft and position control device and up to three double-acting remote valves.
Equipped with oversized rear wheels, the VRM model offers greater traction capability for maximum productivity in any situation. With a super tight turning radius and only the rear final drives being inclined upwards, the VRM version maintains a low centre of gravity. Specially designed for medium-scale orchards and vineyards, this tractor model can be equipped with implement draft and position control, making it ideal for operation with ploughs, spring cultivators and grubbers.
